560 M² HISTORIC VILLA | 3,100 M² GARDEN | 4 BEDS | 150 M TO THE LAKE
EUR 2,500,000.– | 3.57 % Buyer Commission
The prestigious and representative villa was designed by the famous Milanese architect Rino Ferrini, who had it built in the 1920s. Both the interior and exterior design feature high-quality architectural details.
Rosewood, Palladiana marble, ceilings decorated with stucco relief or the windows made of artistic and coloured cathedral glass with lead lines describe the high quality of the materials used.
This jewel stands in the middle of a park-like property of 3,100 m², which is enriched with centuries-old flora and sculptures.
The villa is flooded with natural light and offers a unique sense of space with ceilings over four metres high.
The large semi-circular atrium welcomes you and leads into the corridor, which opens up a unique visual axis along the entire width of the villa. The cosy veranda with a view of the greenery is connected to the large living and dining room, which has a richly decorated wooden fireplace. On the ground floor there is also a reading room with piano, a study, the large kitchen and small dining room as well as a bathroom.
The imposing marble staircase in the light-flooded staircase leads you to the first floor, which is dedicated to the private sleeping area: The master bedroom with bathroom, walk-in wardrobe and adjoining terrace is lavishly proportioned. Three further bedrooms as well as two bathrooms, a cloakroom and further terraces with beautiful views into the landscaped garden complete the upper floor.
In the basement there is a garage for 3 to 4 cars, a useful multi-purpose room, a cellar, building services and other rooms that could be combined to form a small flat.
Lake Maggiore – Stresa
STRESA: THE PEARL OF LAKE MAGGIORE
Stresa is a municipality and popular spa town in the Italian province of Verbano-Cusio-Ossola, located on the western shore of beautiful Lake Maggiore in the Piedmont region of northern Italy. Stresa's location is unique: many attractions, such as the Borromean Islands (including Isola Madre, Isola Bella, Isola dei Pescatori) or the Parco Pallavicino nature museum, which is open to the public, are located in and around Stresa.
The wonderful and well-kept lakeside promenade is a popular promenade along which you can stroll and take a look at brilliant building ensembles. Historic splendour buildings and luxury hotels built in the Liberty style provide an architectural rendezvous.
Restaurants, cafés and shopping opportunities are numerous and varied, from the small authentic Italian café for a quick espresso to fine dining followed by a cocktail at the rooftop bar of the Hotel La Palma.
However, Stresa is not only distinguished by its gastronomy, but also by its excellent connections to Milan and the Milan-Malpensa airport. The airport can be reached in about 50 minutes by car or in about 1 hour 18 minutes by train. Locarno in Switzerland is about 1:15 hour away by car.
The location of the historic villa is unique with only about 150 metres distance to the lake shore. In 15 minutes on foot you can reach the Piazza Guglielmo Marconi and are in the heart of Stresa.
